    Honestly, I was hoping for better.  I know they're all Rass and ARG, but I don't like what they do to the averages on 538 and such.  Nate Silver pretty much says we're losing now.  I think it's a tie.

    I'm pretty sure Obama will do fine on Tuesday.  Loved Biden last night.  Who am I pissed off at now?  The news organizations.  They are of the assumption that if Obama doesn't blow Romney out of the water, (but show the proper respect, whatever that is), that Romney wins.  NPR was all about how Biden was "disrespectful" today, and how Ryan was fit to be president and connected with women voters.  What a bunch of crap.

    If I were Obama, I'd go as positive as he can on Tuesday.  Drive home the lower unemployment rate, the lowest number of people filing for unemployment in 4 years, the highest consumer confidence since summer of 2008.  Show that things are going in the right direction, and faster now than before.  Also be sure to bring up the personal stories of families met on the campaign trail (big in town hall debates), look them in the eye, explain how much Romney doesn't care about them.  Make Romney look as much like a robot as possible.

      The respected sites Qui/NBC/Marist etc may have found a miniscule R lead in CO & VA but those polls covered that period that inlcuded exactly a week ago so it was always gonna be tight. The R pollsters are loving this narrative creating exercise with their quick crappy 24hr polling...

      Also read what the good Doctor said about today's RAND poll;

      either Ohio, Wisconsin, or Nevada, which I have a hard time seeing him doing short of another Obama debate meltdown.

      Or Romney will have to steal a state that was not considered competitive.  The Democrats are demoralized in many blue states, and you see that in the national polls.

      If I were Romney, I would poll Connecticut and New Jersey.  They may be surprisingly competitive.

      WI-8 independent. Very reluctantly for Obama but support Tammy Baldwin with a bit more enthusiasm. Strongly opposed recall of Gov. Walker.
