  •  Biden's attack dog role (5+ / 0-)

I think President Obama's part I was partly meant to bait the media into more thorough coverage of the VP debate.  Obama's performance made the networks blood thirsty for the next drop of a downward spiral and so the media turned to Biden.  Obama's part I indirectly magnified the Biden debate.  The country was drawn into the race at the most timely of times.  Ryan's plan for America is on paper yet Ryan and Romney have somehow been able to distance their party from its radical agenda.  The media has been complacent and enabled the two of them to attempt to serve the people without detailing how they plan to serve.

Team Obama put the spotlight on this debate or better, they lured the media into hyping it to the point where it became probably the most anticipated VP debate all-time after Palin-Biden in 2008 of course.

Vouchercare, gutting Medicaid, social security, unemployment comp and food stamps - liquidating our support services in order to enrich the already rich.

America got to see Ryan under the microscope and we got to see a clear contrast between the Democrats and Republican plans for this country.  Now that the contrast has been set, Obama's free to color in the big picture differences.

    •  Yes, It Did Do That As Well, The Debates Will Be (0+ / 0-)

watched more now that Obama is the underdog. And the VP debate too probably garnered more attention as a result of the overhype of Obama's "defeat".

This post is dedicated to myself, without whom, I'd be somebody else. Though I'd still be an asshole. My Music: [http://www.myspace.com/beetwasher]
