    1. How did we lose Ohio Secretary of State office?
    Did we not care enough?
    Are we inefficient?

    2. What are we doing about voting systems in Florida that are flipping votes?

    3. Is anybody here practicing how to quickly spit out zingy talking points .....and calling in to talk radio shows?
I ask because a brilliantly prepared Republican woman called in to an otherwise sane show and spewed forth such lies about the Biden-Ryan debate that it was astounding. But she spoke so well!!

    Thank you.

to care enough to vote in midterms. And Ohio got Kasick, Portman and the return of Chabot. Reps understood the importance of Midterms in a census year because they were told by the RWNM. We have no noise machine.

for the 2010 race, which was the subject of complaints and argumentation here beginning summer of 2009. We can quibble about the causes, between policy and messaging, but the epic fail numbers hurt us all across the country.

The motivation is still down for Dems compared to Republicans. There's no liberal or progressive movement comparable to the conservative movement; we do have a number of interest groups but we don't have the backing of businesses, billionaires and organization that compares just to the evangelicals.

About Republican callers, every day a list of the day's talking points is distributed to pundits, candidates and also many activists who call in to political programs and go out onto the blogs to write and comment. There's no comparable system for Dems because there can't be. The Repubs are all conservative so they'll all stick to the same message. Dems range from conservative to liberal so any distributed message would probably be unacceptable to 1/3 to half of us.

        There are how many subscribers?

Maybe some Kossacks could volunteer to contact the best Democratic wordsmiths to get talking points and share them here, give links, give strategic updates.

I'm doing my own targeted GOTV with 2-4 special interest groups I'm involved with but there's such an abundance of I'm not sure what here on Daily Kos and it's going to waste...preaching to the choir, etc.
