    This is so frustrating.  We complain because they do all the right things to get their candidates elected, we then pat ourselves on the back because we think we're so much better than them.   Oh, did I forget the part where we have to live with the results?  Hearing about mistakes is one thing, but if we pile on the President so badly day after day and refuse to let go of it, then we can expect to lose and live with it.

    It was the piling on that was unconscionable. So here we sit, sweating bullets three weeks before the election, watching the Republicans stand by their man and producing polling results that don't reflect the reality of the debate.

      It's the "piling on" I object to, as you so well phrased it.

      Hearing about mistakes is one thing, but if we pile on the President so badly day after day and refuse to let go of it, then we can expect to lose and live with it.
      We're essentially saying the same thing, aren't we?
