    Nobody likes being the mark. In fact, odd as it may seem, some people would rather continue to be taken advantage of than admit they are being taken advantage of. Denial isn't just a river in Africa.

    Put another way, when you tell an abused friend that their partner is abusive, sometimes said friend will defend their abusive partner and attack you, instead.

      to both sides to get their way. wall street wins no matter what. the corporateocracy has been real for some time, most folks are afraid to utter its name.

        I should know, I fight tyrants, and if this guy were one, I'd be fighting him. I'm not, therefore, he's not. Quod erat demonstrandum.

        Anyone who doesn't get this just doesn't want to.

        I think this took place sometime in the late 70's, but that's just a gut feel.  

        It may have been sooner, probably not any later.

      What's the matter with Kansas is about an entire segment of the population willingly voting against its own interests rather than admit the abuse.

      It's too hard ... everything in life then has to change.
