fire should never ever be ignored!

thank you for posting this - and you are right - mailers - in the mail box - those are powerful.  many seniors are not computer savvy - they don't have one, don't know how to use one and are not privy to the information that we take for granted daily (well, minute by minute).

we need an on the ground florida operation AND we need "brochures" - handouts that people can sit and read!

that has worried me about the electronic elections - those hold in your hand pieces of paper that seniors are accustomed to reading are missing in action!

yes, i know it costs money to print them (i was supply coordinator for the ny mcgovern campaign, i REALLY know the costs!), but the cost of losing an election is much greater!

glossy, colorful sheets with worried looking old people on them.  They are sending these out in every district in every state, and they are promoting the big lie that the Democrats are taking $716 billion away from beneficiaries.

They can do great harm--targeting the people as you described as non-computer savvy.

I don't think it would be beyond the pale for Obama to actually give a specific speech to seniors on national television explaining just what that $716 billion is--and is not--going to affect.

Because the lie is scaring the seniors and disabled.

If the plutocrats begin the program, we will end it. -- Eugene Debs.
