    at least for Pittsburgh.

If Mitt's going downtown, great. There's hardly ever much traffic downtown. Anywhere else, traffic congestion is pretty much contained to that section of the city or its expressways.

David Wiegel needs to take some time off.

and can you provide any other legit reason to attempt this?

It is interesting that he is going to PA..not VA or WI...

Super. From my daily experience with Pittsburgh, I just don't see it happening.

There may be no "legitimate" reason Romney is coming other than he's desperate to pick up PA, so maybe he thinks he can turnout Republicans in Allegheny or Southern Butler Co, or in Westmoreland and Washington Co.'s. Maybe he really doesn't have anything better to do. Or maybe he really does want to be a nuisance.

But a presidential candidate going to a major city to create traffic congestion and subsequent chaos at the polls? What a colossally stupid waste of resources and time since I doubt he'll be able to accomplish that.

Look--former Pres. Clinton was here today. We had numerous visits by Pres. Obama in '08 near U. of Pitt. It never shutdown the city or created traffic that wasn't manageable. I doubt Clinton's visit to downtown PGH today was much of a headache. It's not like the G-20 summit when the city basically shut down and barricaded itself.

    •  Good to know. I've only been there once on a Sat. (2+ / 0-)

Though, the guy from Fox News.com is the one who speculated on the intent to disrupt.
