      world. Dude needs to get a smidge more specific.

      I don't know about you, but I drink the kind my dad roasts himself from beans bought in Oakland. I think that probably qualifies as a snooty liberal kind, but then I live in rural NC. And I'm not to far from where Intelligentsia is roasted, which is widely considered to be one of the best coffee roasters in the country. But we're a long way from Madison, WI.

      His kind of thinking is doing so much damage to contemporary politics. People aren't walking cliches. Clearly, Silver proves that numbers matter. But, when you step outside of numbers, you need to allow for human complexity. Pundits are taking numbers and turning them into a squishy narrative. It doesn't work, and it's so toxic to effective dialogue.
