    And what's really exciting is that there are two programs unfolding simultaneously, both of which to some extent benefit each other and back each other up in case one of them slips in schedule: The SLS/Orion by NASA, and SpaceX's evolution of Dragon and the Falcon Heavy.

      SpaceX and other private companies will take over near-earth space developement and give NASA free reign to explore the moon and beyond. That would be a hell of a thing.
