    Top reasons for losses:
    Hurricane Sandy
    Weak candidates (and who chose those candidates?)
    Candidates were outspent by opponents (huh?)
    too much emphasis on social issues (kiss Ralph Reed and the Christian Taliban goodbye) and not enough on economic issues (austerity is a sure winner along with tax cuts for those with $250K and above incomes)

    Finally they admit that they have to attract "other" demographics i.e. brown folks but are they willing to kick the Rush habit?

      Facebook and Twitter being the main ones.  People were encouraging friends to go out and vote.  More people are getting involved in the process.  The debates had a lot of real time commenting on social media and there was a lot of discussion online.  On election day, most people were putting on their statuses that they voted.  The more people that vote that don't typically vote, the better Democrats usually do.
