I'm so sick and tired of hearing that excuse I could scream. NOBODY SAID IT WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

In fact, no one thing will solve the whole problem, but raising taxes on the rich is one part of the solution.

Why do the talking heads let rich Republicans get away with saying this over and over without ever challenging them on the logic? Could it be because even Erin Burnett is reportedly making $2 million per year? This compares to

    Anderson Cooper - $11 million
    Joe Scarborough - $5 million
    Piers Morgan - $6 million
    Sean Hannity - $15 million
    Wolf Blitzer - $3 million
    Bill O'Reilly - $20 million
    Chris Matthews - $5 million
    Matt Lauer - $25 million
    Mika Brzezinski - $2 million
    Shepard Smith - $10 million
    Ed Schultz - $4 million
    Charlie Rose - $8 million
    Bret Baier - $7 million

    Whose side are they on?

i didn't know those they were making so much money.
Time we look for other ways of having the news predigested for us.

A group wrote a book saying they were the chosen ones, they believed it. In one of their endeavors they displaced the people of a country, taking the best land, water and cities for themselves. Their book told them it was theirs, they believed it.

      •  Unless Erin has some fancy way to avoid taxes, (0+ / 0-)

letting the Bush tax cuts expire would cost her more than $500,000. I'd bet she does consider that "going over a financial cliff." Anderson Cooper probably agrees. I would cost him more than $3 million dollars. Can anybody believe they're objective?

        •  Sorry, my math is way wrong. (0+ / 0-)

The figures I showed are approximately the entire tax bite on their salaries over $250,000.
