    inefficientvery inefficient and one of the main purposes of setting up public agencies is to realize the economies of scale associated with overcoming the vagaries of man and nature. The river is a natural impediment to human perambulation. Building a bridge makes it possible for all persons to cross when they need or want to. The maintenance should be paid from the communal coffers. Privatization is detrimental because it expects to generate a profit from public utilities for a layer of middlemen who have and will contribute nothing.
    If they have money, it is because they have accumulated and hoarded OUR money, most likely through chicanery. People who hoard money should be as suspect as the squirrels in the attic.

    We organize governments to provide benefits and prevent abuse.
