    to my friends in the evangelical community (which I also used to belong to). Evangelicals cannot expect positive results when they try to enforce biblical morality, and biblical rules on people who do not believe that the bible is the first and last moral authority.

    They are going about it completely backwards. Before they can convince anyone to share their morality, they first have to convince them to share their faith. You know, evangelize. It seems like they gave up on that part here in america because it got hard. If more Christians lived the life modeled by their savior... might as well wish for the moon and the stars in my pocket.
