    ...as a larger turnout than in previous midterm elections? While '10 liberal turnout didn't match '08 turnout, it was on par with other midterms.

      year in terms of getting younger voters, minority voters and liberal voters more involved in the electoral process.  But - at least in terms of 2010 - it was a one-shot deal.

      Somehow we have to get "our team" of voters to realize that if they keep participation closer to presidential years, they could REALLY shape the future of our country.

      been better - but large parts of dkos, among others like Greenwald etc have been firing full cannon on the President. I remember exactly how frustrating it was at the time. I left for about a year because I could not stand the toxic atmosphere.

        types who were pissed off they didn't get single payer right out of the gate proceeded to pee in everyone's Crispy Wheats 'n' Raisins.

        I think it took The Great Purge, followed by the boycott to clean things up. It was messy.
