... since I don't know enough about them other than those laws are harsh towards women, but I get your point.

I don't hate the fundies.  That takes energy, and at my age I don't have the energy to waste.  I have better things to do with my time that are peaceful, soothing, and lower my blood pressure.

I just want them to STFU about mendacious, myopic, misogynistic viewpoints they want everyone else to follow - by law, even, since they're trying to get legislatures to pass laws that reflect their religious views which they want to cram down everyone's throat..., and leave the rest of the population in peace.  Total separation of church and state as mandated by the Bill of Rights and Constitution.

It when they scream and yell and try to shout down and force others to adopt their viewpoints that I get mad about.  I don't have the right to tell them what to believe..., but neither do they have the right to tell me what to believe (though they act like they do), and they certainly do not have the right to try to blackmail legislators into making laws according to the tenets of their religions (even based on lies in some cases).

That's when I start to fantasize about stuffing a sock in their mouths to get them to STFU.  Blessed, calm silence....

I'm sick of attempts to steer this nation from principles evolved in The Age of Reason to hallucinations derived from illiterate herdsmen. ~ Crashing Vor
