  •  It would be sweet to see the flake lose because (5+ / 0-)

of these votes but unfortunately not enough are from Pima as I understand it....Though if the uncounted are from some of the heavily Hispanic areas in Maricopa cty like say,  Phoenix proper there is a chance.....

I really thought Carmona would just wipe the flake off the map but when you look at vote totals, our GOTV here in Pima underperformed drastically....

I have been too broken to volunteer the last few cycles but there wasnt a single damn road sign anywhere in my entire huge area....even at the polling places....first election I have seen anything like it....

    •  Carmona (5+ / 0-)

I agree. My WAG is that the chances of CArmona having enough uncounted votes is no better than 5%. But then according to Nate Silver, Heidi Heidtkamp only had a 7% chance of victory.

    •  I volunteered to do signs (1+ / 0-)

for the Carmona campaign. I told them to give me 2 dozen signs and I'd plant them from here to Three Points. They never got back to me. I'm not sure how many votes those signs actually get, but I'm sure they help name recognition. The Grijalva team had it pretty well covered in town this time, but Carmona had nothing on 22nd. It made me mad that every intersection from the freeway to Old Spanish Trail had a big old Flake sign but no Carmona sign.

The free market is not the solution, the free market is the problem.
