    didn't Bloomberg turn away FEMA help?  (Believing that NYC emergency management could handle things?)

      before the storm arrived and Bloomberg told them NYC-OEM was on it.

        I think 16-oz Mike has some splainin to do.

        He won't, of course.  Mike is never wrong.

        (Caveat - I think in some respects he's a great mayor - that is, if you're middle to upper income.  Which we are.  From that perspective we like his New York. But it leaves a lot of people in the cold...and now, that's literally.)

          OK mayor the second. He over-stayed. We're all sick of him.

          This last part will be his enduring legacy, and everyone will forget to thank him for his achievements, such as banning smoking in bars, except for those that wanted to be "smoking clubs" - e.g. they can get a special permit for cigars and most people don't bother going there.

          Made ya' wonder if he had friend who were positions to corner the small gulp market.
