    his or her spots.  It's a school that honors Trent Lott as a treasured alumni. The university also has a very ugly history when it came to its resistance against integration.

    After all the ugly history up to and after the groundbreaking enrollment of Mr. James Meredith, would any brother and sister think that things were ever going to change on that campus?

     Black folks, including the athletes who were about to attend the school, should weigh this decision heavily after the ugly reaction to the re-election of President Obama in light of the educational institution's stance when it comes to diversity.

    An education is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. They must have the chance to earn it in an environment where they feel comfortable and safe.
