  •  I think what I'm saying (7+ / 0-)

is that you fix Fox, and you at least stop some of those problems getting worse for you as a party. You don't fix fox, and the same problems will occur next election, only magnified.

This may not be the best message to give to Democratic voters, as they may see the electoral advantage of having a smaller and smaller opposition. But it's the best message for the country.

This is a Democratic Site, says the Great Orange.

I think you mean if you Americans....well then we are talking about the convincing the Republicans to begin to see themselves as a loyal opposition for the next four years. And when on the night January 20th 2009, as the USA celebrated what seemed like a historic turning point for democracy, their leadership decided their first objective was to make PotUS a one term president, they chose the path of a disloyal opposition. Not treason, as the Constitution understands it, but a coup by attrition, a four year ides of March.

pardon my Shakespeare. Just saw Thomas  Ade's opera version of the Tempest. so feeling very full FOTHOM five they father lies.

see the republica Party as Forbidden Planet, the SciFi version of the Tempest, only with its Captain, Willard played by Leslie Nielsen as his later, more famous role.

Election 2012 could have been from the Republican side, Frank Drebin does politics
