    I thought the Katrina devastation should have been rebuilt with renewables, though I knew it never would happen under Bush. But Commander-in-Chief Obama already has had the military using renewables e.g., the Army's Net Zero for a few years, and further standardization will make it more affordable.  

    I wish they'd push FEMA to use healthy technology in the devastated areas. Heck, portable solar on a trailer can power the tools needed to rebuild. Why not go whole hog, and apply what the military has learned to civilian life? Historically, we have done that over and over again.

    The tiny solar at my tiny cabin has a low-built shed to accommodate the batteries and inverter, and the panels sit on top of the shed. Don't know where else that might apply, but it's perfect out in the woods.
