    Personallally, I don't do schadenfreude well.

    I've spent my whole life feeling bad for people don't necessarily deserve a whole lot of sympathy, ranging from millionaire athletes who lose insignificant games on television  to  viscious criminal predators who wind up strapped to execution gurneys.  

    As such, it's not hard for me to empathize with my conservative bretheren and sisteren in their hour of post election grief.  Shit, I even felt bad for Romney himself, when I saw how baboon-ass red his eyes were during his concession speech and realized that the reason it took him so long to come out was that he'd been crying.

    Having said that...

    Anyone who feels like spiking the football should go right ahead and get their gloat on, as far as I'm concerned.  At all levels, the contemporary Republican party embraces ideas that are not only misguided, but vile and bigoted as well.  Anyone who associates themselves with an institution so rot-eaten deserves whatever stink sticks to them.
