    According to the Tax Policy Center the top quintile got 65% of the Bush tax breaks.  Which means that the bottom 80% got 35%.  

    Personally, with all due respect to President Obama and Dem Senators and Congress people, I would say the middle class would be within the bottom 80% and not include people in the top quintile.

      I'd fall in that top quintile.  I don't want to pay more taxes but if I did I would recover from the hit fairly decently.  A small adjustment here, a small adjustment there.  And heck - if I didn't have all this debt from forcing my way into this top quintile, I wouldn't even notice a tax increase.
