  •  it says he's complaining about a recount (5+ / 0-)

the votes have been counted twice. if he wants another count there are additional steps to take, not on the public's dime. I don't think West would stop complaining about the counting until they claim he has won with more votes and there are none.

He's not perfect, nobody is, but he is my President. Obama 2012.

    •  but if you read the article, (4+ / 0-)

the article says they only get a partial recount.  I hate West, but if this was happening to me I would have the same questions. I know I did with gore in 2000.

Howard Dean will always be my president.

West hasn't (yet) complained about Palm Beach County.

Besides, one doesn't do a recount until there has been a certified count. Which, I believe, will happen next week.

Everyone in Florida has had his or her vote counted once. Those votes have been recounted. In some counties they have been counted a third and even fourth time.

Of course, that election was a heck of a lot closer than this one. And I agree that if West has qualms about the results, he should address them in accordance with Florida law. But if the positions were reversed, and a partial recount of some 16,000 early ballots led to a 3-point shift within those ballots, I would certainly want to double-check the rest of the early ballots.
