They re-fed the ballots in St. Lucie county from the 3 days of early voting where it was known they had mis-feeds when they started the machines.

They did not have to do this - the supervisor wanted to do it.

The margin for automatic recount is larger than required.  If West wants a full recount, by law he has to wait until vote is certified and then pay for it.

The district covers 3 counties, he's mostly hollering about St. Lucie where supervisor reported the mis-feeds from Early voting ballots in the batch from Nov 1 to Nov 3.  The mis-feeds apparently happened on Election Day when they started tabulating a batch of the early ballots.  That's the way I'm reading it on all the county local news anyway.

The vote count margin did not require the recount, but the supervisor had apparently reported the problem with the one batch and since it also affected local ballot issues, they recounted the whole batch - the vote count changed for several items, not just FL-18.

Murphy is still ahead, by 0.58%, the other ballots did not mis-feed and if any candidate wants a complete district / county hand count its on their dime, not the tax payers' now.

We'll have to see what the county's report says when they file it.

Well, I don't have a problem with a recount if his Citizens United sugar daddies want to pay for it.
