    In 2014, we have great chances to pick up the Governorships of PA, MI, OH, WI, and FL. That's 83 House seats right there. Incumbent Democrats can veto the GOP maps in 2020 and voila, Democrats win back the House. In addition, there will be a fair amount of low-hanging fruit out west over the next few cycles.

    •  Gubernatorial veto over redistricting maps is not (0+ / 0-)

      universal.

      For example, North Carolina law prohibited Democratic governor Bev Perdue from vetoing our state's disgraceful gerrymandered maps. That certainly won't change here by 2020.

      And now, we have a Teapuke governor, completing the trifecta. Gone is the veto stamp over Voter ID Suppression, the Transvaginal Wand, and the dismantling of our already-fragile public school system.
