    I was just re-districted this past cycle from bad (Ken Calvert) to worse (Darrell Issa).  Do you think he'll listen to my carefully thought out and well-worded letter?  Calvert never did. I could always count on him to advocate everything opposite of what I believe.

      who disagree with them. So few people write to their representatives and Senators that the letters that do get written have more impact, especially if they are civil and intelligent. And letter writers tend to be the ones who also vote. They care about getting votes, so it doesn't hurt to let them know we're out here.

      My question: It used to be that a letter in the mail had more impact than an e-mail, then with security concerns after 9/11, people were urging emails over physical letters. What's the story on that now?
