  •  Do you have an Etsy store? (1+ / 0-)

It does require marketing, but some have done well with those.

I also know someone who did a "Holiday crafts fair" at her own house (she did sewing) -- open invitation to visit on a specific day, cookies and goodies were available (free) and she had a wide selection of handmade items at a wide range of prices.

She started with people at work (inviting them by if they needed to shop for personalized gifts) and built it into quite a sales fare (she took in over $3k one weekend.) It took several years to build this up.

Perhaps you could coordinate with other locals to do something like this (by invitation, and tuned to holiday seasons)

    •  Yes, I have an etsy store - (0+ / 0-)

it's where I started. Then I moved all my handicrafts over to Zibbet and kept the Etsy store for my readings & metaphysical stuff, plus a few collectibles.

Like I said, the online stuff is working well. In fact I just today sold one of those crocheted scarves to a fellow Kossack! :)

Handmade holiday gifts from Jan4insight on Zibbet. Get 10%off everytime with coupon code KOSSACK.
