  •  It is somewhat amusing to watch the House (9+ / 0-)

Republican leadership insist that they have a mandate to continue obstructing and that President Obama did not run on raising taxes on those making over $250,000. And also that he did not win in an electoral landslide but that it was by a "slim margin". Not surprising from Paul "No Time For Math" Ryan.

It makes sense for them to pretend otherwise. I am sure that their wealthy sponsors are looking for some scapegoats and muddying up the water until they can find someone to blame this on is a good strategy.

But in the end, the Bush tax cuts will expire, taxes will go up on everyone and the Republican House will have no fig leaf to hide behind. They and they alone will be responsible for taxes going up on the middle class.

    +4 for Fauntleroys.

Words have meaning. Our words will reflect what is in our souls.

We will crush them. Taxes go up and it's Republicans' fault.
Haha! We're already broke and living in snow banks and abandoned barns. What do we care? They're the ones gonna get stuck. Yippee!
Welcome to real life you IOUseless cuff stuffers! Cash it up, hoards.

consider these terms: ocean rise, weather re-patterning, storm pathology, drout famine, acceptance of nature
