    show ID in person for their ballots to count? If so is that new this election?

      It depends on why they had to vote provisional. If it was because they did not have proper ID, or the poll worker did not accept their ID for some reason, then they need to go show their ID to get their vote count. If it was because they were not on the rolls or because they had previously requested a mail-in ballot, then they do not have to go into the elections office.

      There was a lot of confusion about this last week.
