  •  what is the deal with the video (3+ / 0-)

why is that a "sign" of deception?

here is a link to a story "before" the murder where the video is in the lead, quoted by protestors, in egypt, as reason for riot.

why does the internal emotional state of the killers seem so important to the conspiracy theorists?

war is immoral. both parties are now fully complicit in the wars. bring everyone home. get to work.

    •  I think the reason for the conflicting stories... (4+ / 0-)

I think the reason for the conflicting stories is fairly simple.  There is confidential (i.e. secret) intelligence involved and the president or anyone else with a security clearance, cannot speak honestly about it.  No one even knew about the Ambassador's death when Romney started making a case for President Obama apologizing to the Muslim terrorists.  There are cover stories in times like these that are standard operating procedures.

Maybe they didn't want to reveal that there was a CIA operation nearby, maybe they didn't want to tell that that they had been "questioning" prisoners there recently, maybe the Ambassador wasn't even supposed to be at the Consulate at that time and was operating under classified objectives.  This whole matter is causing great harm to our national security.  Republicans with axes to grind may be causing international unrest about classified information.

How can these same people that had no problem with the lies and cover ups regarding the first 9/11 attacks and subsequent Iraqi invasion act as if this is something worthy of accusations of treason?
