2 to 1 over Elizabeth Warren. So yes - he is very well-liked in these parts (central Mass).

May we never forget the fallen. Help us remember them in the IGTNT tributes.

    •  are you in MA or just reporting what is reported? (0+ / 0-)

      I think he's a loser
      but
I am here and get what other people see

he won over 40% of the vote. So, millions like him just by that data.

      •  Im there too. I also remember many pundits saying (0+ / 0-)

no way Warren could beat Scott Brown because he was 'liked'. Turned out to be pure BS.

This last campaign, Voters saw that Brown wasnt the nice moderate guy he ran on in 2010.

I agree with what you say but I sense that without a strong Dem to run against him there are still enough people who like him enough that he could win

we dont' have a strong candidate that I know of.

Brown is like an incumbant. I hope I am wrong but I think people even Dems still like Brown and didn't like firing him. Warren just was such a star, so good.

remember not everyone is as partisan or as informed as we are. Brown was very gracious (drunk?) in his concession speech. I think people will forgive him
we just disagree, and I hope you are right and I am wrong.

          •  Here the problem with Brown, in 2010, he was a new (1+ / 0-)

face, he told Voters that he would be a moderate in the Senate turned out he was simply McConnell's lackey. His campaign against Warren, Brown showed the worst of Scott Brown i.e misoginy, sexism, race baiting..,etc.

In 2010, Dems had a lousy candidate in Martha Coakley who acted as if she had Ted Kennedy's super star appeal when Ted Kennedy campaigned like he was 20pts behind when he was up for election. Coakley underestimated Brown and took days off for vacations instead of campaigning.

Unlike in 2010, if Brown is foolish enough to run, Dems have his RW record in the Senate to run against.

I personally think Brown wont run for Senate more like he will run for Governor because why would he run for Senate only to lose in 2016 again.

I think he'll run because he has no shame.
I do not think the average MA voter was convinced Brown voted badly. Some were, many were not.
I worked on Warren campaign before even knowing much about her but came to see that she was a star...in the best way. She blew him away in all but last debate. I think she won on her own merit.

He'd be a terrible Governor. I hope MA is DONE, at least for a while, with Republican Governors given our last one. I am sure we at least agree on that! ;)

            •  I don't think he'll have to run in 2016 again (0+ / 0-)

If this is for Kerry's seat then he has to run in 2014, which will likely be very doable since its not a presidential election year. We are going to be stuck with Scott brown in the senate for quite a while.
