    But he better start thinking about who'll be actually buying the products he and his corporate buddies want to sell.

    If they lay off workers here demand will go way down because us peons can't afford to buy their products anymore. And, they won't be able to sell their wares to Europe either, considering the fact that the EU is now in a double-dip recession, thanks to the austerity measures similar to the one they're pushing here.

    Take the tax hikes, gentlemen. It's definitely less risky to take a nominal hit now than pushing for the cat food commission, which would endanger corporate stability and future profits.
