    Our grocery store sold pizza dough ready to go from the bakery. The key is to heat the stone first, then bake the dough a little bit first. A dusting of cornmeal keeps the dough from sticking.

    •  Just don't try that with a frozen pizza (0+ / 0-)

      My former wife did that with a baking stone from Pampered Chef and it shattered when the frozen pizza made contact with the hot stone.
