  •  I'd like to know how IDF targeted Jabari (0+ / 0-)

    He had a draft of this agreement? Were Israelis even involved in these talks? If so, did that play a part in targeting him. Did they trace an email to a local computer, or -- maybe there was a hard copy that had a tracker? Now that would be some serious intrigue. It would also suggest that the talks were never more than a bait.

    Or, perhaps, hey've always been able to track him and were just waiting for the proper moment.

      generally stays out of sight, because they fear being killed by the IDF.  The IDF has considerable ability to track individuals in Gaza including Hammas.  In this instance, the prospect of being able to set up a truce was supposedly the reason that Jaabari was moving about.  My guess (and only a guess) is that the talks were bait as you hypothesize.
