I remember that Representative from Sugarland, a suburb of Houston. We could not dislodge him and by God, he'd still be there(!) were it not for his overwhelming thirst. For money. Literally. Oh, and power. Whatever.

Due to gerrymandering he'd still be representing. Sugarland. How embarrassing. And true.

$200K? That former pest control poisoner was brought down on account of greed. How greedy? Dude was on top of his game: he was INFLUENTIAL in Congress, he was called The Hammer, he lived in his own world; and was finally caught by less than $200K. LMFAO.

Can't make this up. "On November 24, 2010; DeLay was found guilty by a jury in Austin (Travis County), Texas, of conspiracy to commit money laundering and making an illegal contribution. He was subsequently sentenced to three years in prison and 10 years probation on January 10, 2011."

Jury by your peers, asshole. I know you've re-found God, how's that working out for you, behind bars.

"DeLay called the Terri Schiavo case "one of my proudest moments in Congress'"

Need I say more? Because I could. :)

      Very interesting.

The elevation of appearance over substance, of celebrity over character, of short term gains over lasting achievement displays a poverty of ambition. It distracts you from what's truly important. - Barack Obama
