but we'd have to make sure there were programs in place to provide moving and housings costs for people who want to move to better states and remain a part of America.

    Leave no one behind!

And any knuckledraggers that want to leave civilization and head to a dark ages type land will have the opportunity. They can make Christianity their official religion and English their official language, abolish science, and return to praying away disease.

And then, the rest of us could have universal healthcare and more money for scientific progress.

We'd have America and they'd have Jesusland.

Sounds good, win-win. It is what everyone wants. Sign me up.

current 5 ac. homesite with the fruit trees, herbs, gardens, yard art, outbuildings, etc. we have added over many years.

Even harder to move the family farm I inherited, which has been in the family since 1904.  My step-dad's ashes are in the peach orchard there, near 50 years worth of good bird dogs.

      The truth always matters.

      •  This is why we stay and fight. (4+ / 0-)

My father's family left Mexico and came here two generations ago.  My mother's family has been here generations.  Their blood, sweat, and tears are here.  The children they lost along the way, the wives, brothers, mothers, fathers, etc. are buried in the ground beneath our feet.

We stay, and we fight, because this is our history, and this is our home.
