opinion:  any time I mix two things together, I call it homemade.

"is it REAL homemade, or home-assembled?"

      But it matters to me.

My food allergies are to chemicals found in processed foods, and I react very badly to fructose.

So I'm not being elitist, really.  If you made that cake at home with flour, butter, sugar, cocoa powder, etc. then I can probably have a small piece.  If you used a box mix and commercial icing, I can't.  And I don't like to have migraines rather than be polite.

When you come to find how essential the comfort of a well-kept home is to the bodily strength and good conditions, to a sound mind and spirit, and useful days, you will reverence the good housekeeper as I do above artist or poet, beauty or genius.
