    Some states' Medicaid limits are way below the poverty line, IIRC. As I remember, the idea was to have Medicaid cover people who were at or below about 133% of poverty, and then the exchanges--with subsidies--would kick in above that.
    But now that will not be the case for as many people as was expected, thus several million more people will still be SOL wrt health insurance--because, as I understand it, they will not be eligible for the federal subsidy. And frankly, when someone is making around $15K/year, even as a single person, a miss is as good as a mile in terms of affordability.
    Probably we both need to check our sources, or at least one of us needs to add a link. ;) I hope that you are correct. I fear that I am.
