Family elsewhere and I was so burned out from eight straight weeks of election work, which ended yesterday, that I was just looking forward to spending the day at home. I went to a Thanksgiving Eve spaghetti dinner last night at my church and one of our priests was running around trying to make sure everybody had a place to go. A couple of friends of mine were inviting folks over, and I told them I appreciated the offer but really needed to recharge. I cleaned my entire living room today and finished getting out my holiday and winter stuff. I also took down the plants on my front porch and put stuff away. A friend of mine called to chat. She also has no family here and usually takes a shift at the hospital on holidays for someone who does. (She's a nurse-practitioner). She was bitching about people who voted for Romney.

And nobody posted an election conspiracy theory diary today so about as close as it came to anything driving me nuts were people posting diaries about how Hillary is a shoo-in for 2012. And those don't make me THAT nits because they're just silly.

Thank god I have no Republican relatives. I've always been the most conservative member of my family. My family tree is full of communists and radicals.

    Jon Husted is a dick.
