After all the bullshit is spewed, all the conspiratorial nonsense shoveled and all of dog whistles sounded off - at the end of the day it really is about the policy put forth.

Also, you can only shout "GET OFF MY LAWN" for so long before people start realizing there really isn't anyone on your lawn.

We should all applaud the voting public for finally seeing through the numerous layers of heaped on crap that these lying liars were back-hoeing on the political landscape.

After the 2010 mid terms, after running on a specific set of promises that were predicated on protecting the middle class from the ills of "big government socialism" that threatened to tax them into poverty and remove their freedom of choice - the GOP took their house majority and used it to try to remove Medicare, increase the retirement age, reinforce and refund corporate welfare, keep the banking industry deregulated, and block anything and everything the President was attempting (when they weren't wasting time renaming gov buildings).

They principally ran on a completely inane policy of protecting government socialist programs from the evils of government socialism.  And bizarrely enough - it worked.  The older group of the electorate that dominated mid term voting rolls - completely swallowed this elementary school level con line as if they read it from holy scripture.

What. A. Bunch. Of. Dumb. Fucks.

Thankfully, for the rest of us, the GOP believed their own invincibility - as stated in this diary - and nominated the granddaddy of all liars - Mittens Romney - who just happened to be the biggest serial off-shoring vulture capitalist - and arguably - the biggest contributor to the decline of American domestic industry - as their POTUS candidate.  Moreover, he ran on a jobs platform that was an amplified version of trickle-down voodoo economics with the architect of the plan to end Medicare as his running mate.

The rest of us who are not dumb fucks, saw what it was that was actually going the fuck on and said "Holy Fucking Shit...  I gotta vote against these lunatics or they're going to destroy this country."  And despite the best efforts from GOP governors, went out and voted against these greedy psychopaths.

Ah, but the American voter is fickle and the money behind these assholes is relentless - so the good fight needs to continue to be pressed.

It is nice to see these GOP douchebags on the defensive for a change, though.  Applause for the 3 dimensional chess victory.

Are there no prisons? No workhouses?
