When regular folks came out for a couple of weeks to give the greedy wall street fucks hell, it was some real grass roots shit. But almost predictably, far left anarchists and nutcases took over and beat the horse to death way beyond recognition. And predictably, they added Obama to the evil pot of corruption and greed. I appreciate the movement for the first month, then I hated it. The movement had as much to do to frame this election as my movements do. Seriously, Obama can thank the idiot thug candidates for reframing the campaign as the war against women. And the 47% comment, not the 99% comment.

    •  "Obama Corporate Puppet" is no closer to reality (4+ / 0-)

than "Obama Marxist Muslim" or "Obama Progressive Saint".

I stood with my local Occupy demonstrations last year.

This this year I worked with my local Democratic club to help re-elect the President, and elect a Democrat to Congress in a district that's been held by Republicans for the last 70 years.

Next year I'll be volunteering to elect some decent people to the City Council. If the Greens can come up with a candidate who can win, I'll vote for 'em. Otherwise I'll be promoting Democrats who can beat right-wing candidates, and maybe someday move up to the state legislature, and then to Washington.

      That's my reality.

      Have you noticed?
      Politicians who promise LESS government
      only deliver BAD government.

On behalf of President Obama, 55 Senators, a host of Reps and the Democratic Party. Well done!
