    of fruits and vegetables every day!!  Make salad/fruit the main course of every meal.

    These two suggestions are easy to remember and incredibly beneficial.

    I went almost completely plant based about a year ago and immediately saw the benefits in sleep, weight loss, exercise recovery, health etc. (consistent full night rest for the first time, down 22 pounds, 7 triathlons--including 2 1/2 ironmen, Total Cholesterol 112, LDL 90, Triglycerides 45-- my lowest ever) .  

    Following up on my results, I wanted to come up with a couple of easy takeaways for the students I instruct. I have no illusions that they will all become vegans, but many can/will at least partially follow these two simple directives and each day that they do, they are a little bit healthier.
