View Diary: Israel commits Mass Murder and Obama Silent again (145 comments)

  •  A scenario is not an event; (0+ / 0-)

in fact, it's a theoretical construct.  Which in the one case you can come up with Israel wasn't quite mad enough to actualize.

    •  Not an event? (0+ / 0-)

You base this without even reading about it. Yet you quote a comment by one person as somehow more significant than high level discussions within the Israeli government at an actual moment in history.

In answer to your preference for one person's opinion: an opinion is not even a scenario.

      •  If it had been an event, (0+ / 0-)

then the nukes would've fallen on Egypt and Syria as per scenario.

So you're going to argue that Israel nuked Egypt and Syria?

        •  Well you seem to be arguing... (0+ / 0-)

that Israel nuked European capitals. Or at least using your "logic" regarding my claims.

Your claim: Israel is more likely to nuke European capitals than Syria or Egypt. (source: one person's claim about European capitals combined with your own opinion)

My claim: there is no evidence that there has ever been any consideration of nuking a European capital by any Israeli government ever, but there are credible claims (and I cited a source which covers actual past events in considerable detail) that Israel DID seriously consider nuking Egypt and Syria.

Your response: "So you're going to argue that Israel nuked Egypt and Syria?"

Does your position here really make sense to you?

          •  you're having trouble (0+ / 0-)

with the basic meaning of words such as "event."  Buh bye.

            •  That didn't address my question (0+ / 0-)

You seem to have even more trouble with that since you are considering one person's theoretical opinion more important than an actual discussion within an Israeli government meeting. Now you may not consider a meeting an event (and I admit time does surreal things during many a meeting perhaps making it seem like a dream) but it certainly has more validity in this context than one person's theory.

Yet you continue to maintain this position and turn to evasion, insults, and distortions of my views rather than say why you are claiming Israel is more likely to nuke European capitals than its neighbors when only one person has ever said anything about the former but Israel HAS considered the latter during a desperate war.

Again, does your position here really make sense to you?
