    store locally.  I think that making people work on Thanksgiving is going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back in terms of public support for companies like WalMart.  

    The revolution will not be televised. But it will be blogged, a lot. Probably more so than is necessary.

      that non essentials are working in a retail store, and

      will be there Thursday picking up last minute Thanksgiving items and heh, as i noticed last year, useless crap like $5.00 dvds. Yay, me, I am there at 5:30 pm on Thanksgiving so someone can get Rocky I and II.

      I told a colleague of mine, "if we are open on these holidays, we should sell the essentials only, Bread, milk, eggs, apples and bananas, Diapers medicine, and booze for coping with lecherous old uncle alvin. "

      She laughed and told me that a bunch of people would suddenly find a reason to need diapers, they need to hit their shopping addiction so bad.
