  •  This cannot be understated - It's key to the crazy (13+ / 0-)

His core beliefs were formed in early childhood when his father was being indoctrinated by one of the most far right conservative religious cults that existed at the time. Snotty was physically present during this process for the first ten years of his life. This cult makes today's religious conservatives look like amateurs.

This theology forbids liberal thinking (free thought) and enforces thoughts that they twist out of Biblical verse. Without a lot of complexity of their methods and goals, Snotty is literally unable to think on his own and the twisted cherry-picking of Biblical verse forms his illogical thinking style. Logical fallacies make no sense to these folks. Instead of being taught how to think rationally and logically or to understand the scientific method, these creeps teach children that these things are evil and they will burn in Hell or something like that.

Corporal punishment and public humiliation of children is encouraged to break those evil habits of rational, independent, thought.

This was the place that began the movements to tie cultish evangelism to the democratic process. So the goal includes taking over all positions in government in order to replace man's laws with the true laws that only come from God and the Bible.

Yes, this seems that no person would ever fall for this shit. Just attend Snotty's church and all doubts will vanish.

So yeah. Snotty is on a mission from God. He has all sorts of "evidence" that God has chosen him and only him for this mission. Any bumps in the road are considered to be a trial from God. This is a sign that means he needs to try harder and God will protect him from everyone else who is against his nonsense. He is also forgiven for the bad things he does to others. After all, they're probably liberal thinkers. Evil. And slaying the Devil is ok and God forgives you unconditionally.

The World will end tomorrow if man's law isn't replaced by God's law immediately. That Rapture thing is another test, you know.

I can go on forever about this twisted shit. But you get the idea.

Snotty Wanker is a twisted sociopath. I would call it insane. In a bad way. He is a danger to society and, by his beliefs, civilization itself.

    •  Doesn't Scotty Walker claim to be Catholic? (1+ / 0-)

Catholics not only do not believe in "The Rapture" they mock it as one of the most silly things Protestants ever made up from their unlettered & untaught interpretations of Scripture.

Catholic. I am not sure what denomination he belongs to, but he isn't Catholic.

      •  Evangelical Baptist Apologetic splinter variety (0+ / 0-)

Add in a little Calvinism, Revivalist, and Adventist and you're getting close. Fire and brimstone. Rapture. Anti-Christ. All that nonsense.

The Seminary is the Denver Seminary during the reign of Vernon Grounds, a relatively unknown far right wing evangelist who started out as a Presbyterian, if you can imagine. The major shift to political activity in the Southern Baptist Conference is indirectly due to his distorted views.

The Baptist label is rather meaningless in this context. It's just where some of this stuff started. The "Kill the Gays" movement isn't labeled as Baptist, for example. Rick Santorum, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachman, etc. The list is long.

Paul Ryan is the Wisconsinite who claims to be Catholic but doesn't seem to actually understand Catholic teachings. He's not an evangelical. He's just a juvenile Ayn Randian wannabe.

Snotty Walker is the son of a preacher, Llewellyn Walker, who is/was employed as Snotty's evangelical campaign outreach director. The larger picture just gets worse.

      •  Also, too, (0+ / 0-)

Wanker attended Marquette University in Milwaukee until they kicked him out for his dirty campaigning tricks when he ran for class president. The school newspaper endorsed him and then retracted the endorsement in a brutal editorial after they found out that he was stealing newspapers and campaign leaflets that contained anything positive about his opponent. And Wanker's campaign literature were filled with lies and false accusations about his opponent.

        Nothing has changed.

Marquette was founded as a Catholic Seminary school, but that doesn't mean much these days. It's the Marquette Law School that is notorious for it's far right wing agenda. Not all law graduates are rabid right wingers, but there are a few that are very high profile.

Paul Ryan says he's Catholic. He went to Miami of Ohio and was an intern for David Prosser, Bob Kasten, Sam Brownback, and Jack Kemp during anf following those years. It's Jack Kemp who was a rabid Ayn Rand evangelist. Apparently, Kemp made his staff read and parrot that stuff. Apparently, it's the only book Paul Ryan seems to have read.
