  •  McCain's past due for a mental health intervention (4+ / 0-)

The man's been acting increasingly unstable since the bizarre action of selecting the dimwitted, highly unqualified Sarah Palin to be his VP running mate.

Since then, it's all been downhill for McCain.  As McCain knows, but apparently thinks that no one else does, it doesn't really matter what Susan Rice said on TV.  What matters is what actions the Administration took behind the scenes following the attack, and that's something they don't have to publicly report in minute detail to John McCain or Lindsey Graham.

Governments don't usually routinely send spokespersons on national Television programs to give the whole world the details of covert operations. In fact, as the link notes, "There's a reason Why the Reports of Benghazi Are So Confusing":

In regards to Benghazi, Petraeus has "stayed away in an effort to conceal the agency's role in collecting intelligence and providing security," the WSJ reported, noting that during the attack "some officials at State and the Pentagon were largely in the dark about the CIA's role."

If McCain doesn't get it, he's too stupid for the job he's trying to keep doing.  If he does get it but doesn't care what national security secrets he exposes to the world, then he's unqualified for the job he's trying to keep doing.
