    lost me as a customer that day. I haven't been in there since that op-ed.

    I figure I've saved tons of money by no longer shopping there since I always ended up buying more things than were on my list.

    The upside is I'm back shopping at our two locally-owned health food stores, which served me quite well for many years before Whole Foods came to town.

    Once in a while I want something that's only available at Whole Foods, but then decide I really don't need it after all.

      Haven't set foot in Whole foods since that op-ed and it's been GREAT. I found two local co-ops I love and yep, I've saved a lot of money.  Not to mention it feels better to shop local.  It just does.
