    I truly believe you must run your business thinking about your customers, not yourself.
    Such as perhaps listening to a customer who has watched choice product after product vanish and suggests that perhaps the old concept of "loss leaders" might apply?

    Such as a small to moderate sized business not "investing" in a "For x press 1, for y press 2 . . . 'Your business is important to us so please leave a message'" phone systems? (BTW, the moment I hear that last I know my business is not important to them and, given any other option, take it elsewhere.)

    Business after business that I once thought well of has, usually after the death of a founder and "acquisition" by a newbie, has gone village idiot and lost my dollars. I think the same mentality has led to the politicization we see. When one is blind stupid in one area it often covers another.
