    If you are the kind of teacher who can reach these kids, then you have and are a gift from God!  

    One thing, though--watch yourself for burnout! Do what it takes to keep yourself healthy and sane.  If not for your own sake, then for the sake of your students!

    You can always share with them what you are doing and why--and model self-care for them as a bonus.

      which is why when I first informed this community I would be doing this, I made clear I would not be as visible as recently.
