people were injured or killed in the same time period?

    •  The Economist has the numbers (5+ / 0-)

      Data here.

Of the Gaza missiles, the IDF claims to have intercepted 80 to 85% of them, and of the remainder, all but 35 fell in open areas (meaning they didn't hit anything).  The missiles are quite ineffective, and as the data show, traffic accidents kill far more Israelis than Palestinians do.

Meanwhile, the attacks by the Israelis are far more deadly.

    •  Most recent figures (6+ / 0-)

from Joe Buck's excellent link (dated Monday, Nov. 19):

Number of Israelis killed by fire from Gaza, November 13th-19th 2012: 3
      (Source: press reports)

Number of Palestinians in Gaza killed by Israeli fire, November 13th-19th: 95
      (Source: IDF)

Last I heard on Al-Jazeera live, 20 Palestinians were killed this morning.

at conflict. It makes me wonder why they either attempt to attack Israeli civilians or support those who do so ? Israel will defend itself. Israel will not and cannot allow attacks on their civilians to continue in perpetuity with no response.

    •  So the answer we have here is that nobody who (0+ / 0-)

quotes alleged Palestinian rocket firings in the last long period, not the last week, are not in possession of how many rocket firings and other firings by Israel occurred during the same period and how many people were injured or killed thereby?  As if there were none at all?
